FOSTERS NEEDED

Did you know, we are 100% foster based? We are also 100% publicly funded. This means we cannot do anything without you!

These 6 kitties need a foster. Their owner is homeless and has nowhere for them to go. They have food and water, but need shelter.

Sooty's Alum Update!
It's been almost two years, but many of your might remember Hermione (formerly Ruby Jane). This little survivor was found in the engine of a big truck, which had been driven recently! We didn't have her for long, as her new family saw her, fell in love with her, and was willing to do foster to adopt until she was old enough to be adopted fully.

This furbaby's sister named her Hermione, but the inside joke is they should have named her Bellatrix (shout out to all the @The Wizarding World of Harry Potter fans). Apparently little miss Hermione can be temperamental at times, but it's just part of her personality and her new family loves her just the same!

We love getting these updates, so if you adopted from us, please don't be shy about sending to us updates, pictures, whimsical stories. Know that your furbaby has a fan base out there!

FOSTER NEEDED
This is Morris (or so he is being called). It appears that he was left behind when his family moved away, as he can be found sitting under the for sale sign and will happily lead strangers to the porch of the now empty house. We've been advised that he is super affectionate and quite the purr machine.

If you are a current foster with us and are able to open your home to Morris, please let us know.

We do not have Morris in our custody, he was reported to us by another party and we are hoping to find someone to foster, so we have somewhere he can live.

Sooty's Alum Update: Toby was adopted out as a puppy over 2 years ago now. Today he is a healthy and happy 2.5yo dog, living his best life! Best of wishes for continued prosperity for Toby and his Family!!

Sheba is a sweet kitty looking for her forever family. She is good with other cats, dogs and kids. Her foster says: "Sheba is a doll! She is very affectionate and outgoing, loves attention and purrs to show it. If you are looking for an affectionate kitty, she is your girl. Not big on being held, but a loving person can change that. She loves to sleep on the bed with the dogs and her human. She is approximately two and a half years old."

Gunner is still looking for his his forever home! His foster mom recently sent us this update on him:

"Gunner's face when he's demanding morning back scratches. 😂

He is 10/10 a cat in a dog body. If you like cats but want a dog, Gunner's your man. If you like dogs and don't mind cats, Gunner is also your man. Or if you've just always wanted a really big cat, Gunner can make your dreams come true.

He is food-motivated, has great leash manners, and also a favorite spot on the couch. Gunner would do best in a home with older children and as an only dog as he can also be a grumpy old man. But with an experienced dog owner, he can also be part of a dog pack and live with younger children that will respect his space. Gunner loves toys and plays well with my exceptional needs 5 year old. Think playful (when he wants to be), lazy (most of the time), affectionate (when he's in the mood), grumpy old man cat-dog and you've got Gunner."

Delta is an active and playful friendly kitty looking for her own family. She enjoys playing with anything and everything available and would do well in a home that can spend a good amount of time playing with her one on one. Delta does good with other cats after an adjustment period but really doesn't care for dogs unless they are the same size as her. Office Kitty Looking for Work!!

Meet Yennefer 💗 Yennefer is not a Sooty's animal but we hope this will help find her a good job. She is a year old and a rehabilitating former feral. She really excels in smaller spaces so would be GREAT as either an office kitty or for a companion in a older teens bedroom.. Yen LOVES other cats and would do best in a home with at least 1 friendly feline. She is already spayed and vaccinated. There is no adoption fee but vet reference and home check is required.
