Today is the day Tucker has been waiting for... 🙏

Tucker joined the rescue a little over five weeks ago when a shelter volunteer recognized he was very weak and unble to stand. 💔 He's suffered much of his life with an untreated ear infection that led to a number of severe medical issues. Having gone years with such an intense infection, it's no surprise that Tucker was quite anemic. It was expected that his hemoglobin levels would rise once starting the proper antibiotics however, he's actully experienced some drops that caused us all quite a scare. 😣 After treating for coccidia and hookworms these levels seem to be increasing slowly. Dr. Forrest feels it's safe to proceed with the Total Ear Canal Ablation surgery today❗️ Not only will this surgery provide sweet Tucker with tremendous pain relief but removing all that nasty infection should also help to boost his hemoglobin levels. 📈 It's still a risky surgery especially in his current state, so we are asking for you to please keep him in your thoughts and pryers today and through the next several days as he begins to heal. 🙏

Who remembers little Albert? 🙋 He joined the rescue about five weeks ago, lethargic, weak, and painful due to a condition called Puppy Strangles. 🏥 With proper medical care, sweet Albert is back on his feet and enjoying puppy life. 🐾 Although Albert has some adoption interest already, we couldn't resist sharing these adorable transformation photos. Alex (AKA Alexandra) & Sam (AKA Samantha) have been recovering from a nasty case of Parvovirus. 🦠️️ They've recently been discharged from emergency care and have been continuing to get better each day in their temporary foster home. 💗

Once they've been cleared to venture out of isolation, their hind leg abnormalities can be fully evaluated. ♿️ For now, we just have to patiently wait for the virus to fully shed to ensure no other dogs are exposed.

🗣 METTA family, please welcome our newest little trio ~ Millie, Charlotte, and Roxanne. 🥰 These three beautiful Chihuahua’s were brought into the county shelter in need of rescue assistance and our hearts just couldn’t say no. 🐶 Millie and Charlotte are both around 4 months old and their mother, Roxanne, is 5 years old. 🐾 Each of them has their own little personality and we can’t wait to learn more about them during their journey with us. 🤗 Stay tuned for more updates! ✨

🗣 Exciting news ~ Daphne had her first rehab consultation yesterday with the amazing Dr. Mason at @flvetrehab abilitation. 💗 She will also be starting shock wave treatment and getting better adjusted to her cart to improve her overall mobility. 🦽 With these physical therapy treatments, we are hoping to see her regain more use and range of motion in her back leg. 🤞🏻 Please keep this precious girl in your thoughts and prayers as she makes her way through this next step of her journey! 🐾
