Bozue is a very sweet medium sized boy. He is about 30 pounds and estimated to be between 3-5 years old. He was one of 7 dogs found to be living on their own. They had to be live trapped to be caught and brought into the rescue. He definitely seems to have been someone's pet previously as he is housebroke and loves attention. Bozue is great with other dogs and kids, cats are unknown. He warmed up very quickly to his foster mom but it took a bit longer for foster dad as Bozue seems scared of men. He has never shown any signs of aggression but would run away if approached by a man. He is now going to his foster dad for loving and pets after about a week of getting used to him. Bozue also knows how to use a doggie door and the dog steps to get on the bed. He gets very excited to see you after you have been gone. He will prance his wiggle butt to you and put his front feet up on your leg to greet you. Who could have not loved this little guy? Bozue is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $200, please apply at gfrpets.org/apply.

Wow!! What a beautiful brindle Dane. This wonderful boy is Mario, he is a 1.5 yr old male Great Dane who is smaller for his breed. (Approximately 100 pounds) Mario is such a great dog, he is good with dogs, cats, kids, everything! He is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door should you be lucky enough to have one. He is the best snuggler and enjoys sleeping in bed with his person but should you not have enough room in the bed he is also happy to sleep in his dog bed near his people. He is a calm boy and has done great around babies and todlers also. He is a little shy of strangers at first but warms up quickly. His adoption fee of $400 covers his neuter, stomach tacking, microchipped with registration, vaccines, and monthly heartworm and flea preventions. Just as Echo gets better from parvo, his brother Charlie has tested positive. The good thing is he’s more alert and bigger than his brother, which gives him a good chance. Even with treated him at home, Echo costs us $700 in meds. Can you help donate to his brother?

Echo is eating and drinking and, as you can see, annoying all the adult dogs in the household. He’s not out of the woods yet, but things are much improved! He will not be ready for his forever home until he’s out of quarantine and healthy enough to be fixed.

Echo update. He’s lifting his head more, but still not eating. No vomiting and he’s on fluids and meds to help. We basically just have to support him as the virus runs its course. Paws crossed he gets through this. #parvo.
