Beautiful Shelby is looking for her forever home!!
This amazing girl was adopted from us several years ago and returned a few months ago. Unfortunately, she came back to us with cancer and we’ve done all we can to remove as much of it as possible— even trying chemo.
Our vet isn’t sure how long Shelby may have but he hopes our efforts have bought her a few golden years!
Enough of the sad stuff though, let’s talk about how amazing Shelby is!
If you are looking for a low key companion, she’s your girl. Her favorite place to be is by your side! She’s happy to spend your workday together, napping on a soft dog bed, listening to you work. Her favorite time of day is after dinner snuggle time, it may take her a minute to get comfortable, she might wiggle or squirm a bit, but the sound of your heartbeat will have her asleep in no time.
Shelby has grown to love her crate, and views it as a safe space as long as it’s in a spot near her people. She is potty trained, too! She battles some separation anxiety, but the company of a fur friend definitely helps calm her.
Shelby is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and Heartworm negative.

Happy Thanksgiving, Eunoia family!!
We are so, so, thankful for all of our fosters, volunteers, adopters, donors, and supporters!
“Eunoia” means beautiful thinking, and because of all of you, we are able to keep the beautiful thought of saving animals going!
May you all have an amazing day!
Pepper is looking for her forever home!
This cutie came to us from Lancaster County along with an adorable trio of puppies. Her puppies have been adopted, but Pepper is still waiting for her forever people to scoop her up!! She about 3 years old and weighs around 40 pounds.
Pepper is such an easy going girl. She’s the perfect companion for someone who works from home and wants a pup to keep them company, but not distract them from their work/interrupt work calls. She is calm, loves to snuggle, and sleeps all day! If you work outside of the home, that’s fine too— Pepper is house trained and is not destructive when left alone!
Pepper is one of the most affectionate pups we’ve ever met. This girl takes a few seconds to warm to new people, but once she knows you’re okay, she will shower you with kisses. She’s incredibly thankful for her fosters, and expresses her gratitude with kisses and snuggles all the time.
Pepper is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has completed Heartworm treatment.

Katniss on Wheels is officially available for adoption!!!
Katniss is our amazing warrior girl! She is almost a year old and has already conquered so many challenges in her life. She was born with a spinal defect that left her with no function in her back legs and limited control of her bladder and bowel movements. Katniss recently had both her back legs amputated as well as her tail to help decrease injury and improve mobility. The decision to amputate was a tough one, but after speaking with our veterinarians, we decided it was the best thing for Katniss.
Despite all the hurdles she has overcome, Katniss is healthy and loving life to the max! Even as a puppy, Katniss has never let anything slow her down! She is a master scooter, wheelchair champ, and absolute firecracker! She is the happiest dog you will ever meet and she always has a smile or kiss for anyone. Katniss is good with all people and other dogs! She is a true ray of sunshine.
Taking care of Katniss has its challenges but it is also so rewarding to see her living a happy full life. On a daily basis, Katniss spends time in her crate, free time out in a controlled space, and structured exercise in her wheelchair or drag bag. Katniss loves going on walks and seeing all her fans in our neighborhood.
Outside of her space or in her wheelchair, Katniss wears a diaper and does really well with this arrangement. She absolutely loves all the extra water she gets to drink during her Sunday bath time and will do anything for a special treat! Katniss knows to wait before eating or drinking and is learning other basic commands. She loves playing with toys and normally picks one special stuffy to be her favorite.
Katniss is an absolute joy and spreads sunshine everywhere she goes. This feisty amazing girl can not wait to find her forever home!
She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and Heartworm negative.

Meet Marley. Marley came into our rescue today. Marley unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge today, too.
We were contacted by Columbia Animal Services regarding an urgent plea for a six month old female Labrador Retriever, who could no longer stand or lift her head up in her run. We agreed to take her, with not a second thought. We knew she needed medical attention immediately, so we sent her off to Paws & Claws Animal Clinic. After testings we’re completed, it was found that she was not only Parvo Positive, but suspected to also have Lepto. Her white blood count was merely non existent & her temperature was 104. She was suffering. She was dying.
Unfortunately, Marleys life could have had a totally different end story. She could have lived many more years. Grew up with a family & created many happy memories with her people. But that’s not the case, simply because her owners failed to give her basic core vaccines.
This post is to shed light on the importance of keeping your dog vaccinated every year & to follow your vets recommendations on what is the appropriate vaccines to be administering to your loved one. Make sure when adopting a puppy, you do adequate research on the series of puppy vaccines that is required to keep your pup safe & always remember to avoid going to any public places — dog parks, brewery’s, restaurants or even friends homes where you’re unsure if the animal in the home is fully vaccinated, until your pup is fully vaccinated.
We are devastated that we were only able to have Marley for a few hours before she passed. Please, please, please make sure your animals are vaccinated. Don’t let this story, be a story that happens in your home.
Rest In Peace, sweet Marley 🤍🌈
*WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR RADISH*
Radish is available for adoption! Radish was tied to the gates in the middle of the night of the Columbia Shelter & was found by the shelter staff the next morning — tail wagging and happy to see humans!
This Snow White Angel is as soft as a cloud and the sweetest girl ever. She’s about 70 pounds of pure fluff & love. We think she’s around 2 years old. Radish loves dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages & genders. She’s currently living in a home with a 10 pound puppy all the way to a 120 pound large breed dog, with a couple dogs sprinkled in between.
She loves to play with her toys (but no stuffy’s for the girl, she likes to decapitate them!) and is crate and potty trained. She knows how to sit, lay, and shake. She’s such a smart girl and has gotten into such a great routine with her crate training and eating habits. She would be an excellent boat dog, travel partner, dog park dog, restaurant partner & brewery hopper.
She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines & microchipped.

Is it just us, or do the holidays make you think of family? We’re kicking off this holiday season by saving two families!! And in doing so, making some much needed room at Orangeburg County Animal Control and Shelter.
Momma Tango is our chocolate girl who is likely going to bring babies into the world very soon. Thanks to Sara, she’s able to raise her pups in the safety of a nice warm home. We aren’t sure how many pups are in there, but judging by the size of that belly, probably a whole lot 🙈
The skinny tan girl is Momma Gypsy, and the adorable golden polar bear is her puppy, KiKi! Unfortunately Gypsy was living under a house when she delivered, and KiKi is her only surviving pup. But, thanks to Sylvia, they are safe now!
We were thinking we wouldn’t be able to pull many more dogs before the new year, due to lack of fosters, but these two amazing ladies stepped up! And for Tango, her future babies, Gypsy, and KiKi, that means a shot at life. If you’re interested in having a furry visitor during the holiday season, please fill out a foster application!
If you can’t foster, we certainly understand! Donations are also very much needed! Whether that be monetary, or physical— a donation is sure to help save a life! Donations can be sent via Venmo, PayPal, or by shopping our Amazon wishlist!

She’s about 75% potty trained with a few accidents here and there. She would do great in house that’s as active as her, she gets bored and will chew on things if she’s not engaged with. She would love a house that lets her cuddle on them. She loves bed time and snuggles every nook of your body.
Amalie is about 10 months old and weighs 18 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Our T litter of puppies are officially looking for their forever homes!!
These little cuties came to us from a local shelter, along with their momma, Tootsie! Ever since, they’ve been in foster homes learning the ropes of how to be a house puppy. They’ve been socializing and learning manners, and boy are they great pups!
We aren’t sure of their potential breed(s) or full size once fully grown, but we wouldn’t be shocked if they were medium-large dogs. Their individual bios are listed under their photos and on the website.
All of these pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.

Our girl Rory is officially available for adoption!
This cutie came to us from a local shelter that was dangerously crowded. When they were on their way to us, their posts blew up and went viral— if you saw a super sad picture of a mom and baby curled up in a ball snuggling, you’ve seen Rory before!
When we say you are hitting the jackpot by adopting Rory, we are not lying. This little girl is the biggest snuggle bug you’ll ever meet and she just wants to be your best friend. Human affection is definitely her favorite thing, but she’s also very dog friendly— we think she’ll fit in well just about wherever she goes.
She’s potty trained, but really hates the crate. However she isn’t destructive and just curls up and chills when you’re gone. Loves other dogs but also totally good to be the only dog in your life.
If you are looking for someone to be your furever companion then look no further - it’s Rory girl.
Rory is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.
