It's February, love is in the air, and it's that time again for our THIRD annual #ShelterDogSlumberParty! To participate, follow the steps below:

1. Fill out the RSVP form at the link here: https://forms.gle/Bd2jTyCAUbmQW4GW7
2. Staff will contact you to help you select a dog and confirm a pick up time
3. Pick up your selected pet on the 14th, and keep them for a night or all weekend!

Studies show even one night away from the shelter decreases cortisol (stress) levels in dogs and makes them more adoptable. Plus, when you return them with their weekend report card filled out, it will help potential adopters know if they'll be a good fit for their home!

Whether you're spending Valentine's day alone or with a significant other, we know our adoptable dogs will be the perfect addition to your weekend.

We keep telling Ringo (A46343973) he is so handsome, and we're not sure how he hasn't been adopted yet! This 3 year old Australian Shepherd mix is a fun, playful and intelligent dog. He likes to play with squeaky toys, is a whiz at learning new tricks, and enjoys running around the yard with other dogs.

December was a busy but lifesaving month at FWACC. 764 animals found their new homes and 224 were returned to their owners. Our animal control officers responded to over 2,000 service requests within our community, and our dedicated volunteer team spent over 10,000 hours walking, cleaning and socializing shelter pets. We were able to save over 98% of the animals that came into our care - which is a HUGE accomplishment!

He is a 5 year old, 53 pound good boy who is looking for a new family. Lyeaon is sweet, gentle, and seems to know some basic commands. He is currently at our main shelter (4900 Martin St).
