Want to add a second pup to your family?! 🐾
Look no further than Jimmy. This handsome fox is about 1.5 years old and he is definitely a dog’s dog! He always says hi to other dogs on his walks and he can’t get enough cuddles with his furry foster sister. He’s also cool with kitty friends. 🐱
🏠 His perfect home needs to have a doggy pal to show him the ropes and make him feel comfortable. Jimmy still has a bit of stranger danger when he first meets new people, but after a few visits he is able to relax. With his people, he’s able to show his sweet personality. Jimmy is fully house trained and is comfortable in his crate for short periods of time. He would benefit from being in a quieter area, but could do well in a busy area with a calm, confident handler.
💕 Jimmy is a loving, playful and smart pup. He loves to cuddle and wants to be with his humans all the time. He is a great companion for someone who knows how to lead a nervous dog. His nervousness stems from not knowing enough about humans or new environments. Once he is familiar, he is a confident and brave pupper.

Callie is looking for her forever home 🥰
Callie is a sweet collie/wheaten terrier mix who is about 5 years old. She came to us a very insecure and anxious pup, but she has come a long way while in foster care and shown us that she has a ton of love to give. Callie has also proven to be quite the athletic girl!
Her perfect home would be with a person (or people) who are experienced and can read a dog's body language. She will thrive in either a house or an apartment, as long as her forever family will provide sufficient exercise. A family with a steady routine and firm boundaries would be ideal for her, as it will help Callie boost her confidence. She would benefit from a forever family that will continue to expose her to different environments. Callie is fully house trained and crate trained, and has previously lived with cats.
Callie’s fosters describe her as a small furry guardian; she is loving and a good friend for her humans. All the love she receives, she’ll give back in spades. Callie is happy to spend her time playing with humans, by herself (to impress humans) or going for swims, walks and runs. She loves her squeaky toys and playing fetch. 🎾

It’s been a tough year for many of us, and Sybil is no exception. 😞
After undergoing heartworm treatment this summer and getting the all clear to come to Canada, we thought her medical woes were behind her. However, when she arrived she was coughing, and x-rays revealed lung and heart abnormalities which the vet believes were secondary to heartworm. Her cough was treated, and Sybil is now microfilariae negative, so it appears the heartworm-related health effects have been managed.
While getting treated, we learned that Sybil has thyroid carcinoma. Due to her medical history, she is not a good candidate for surgery. Though she is currently clinically stable, it is difficult to know the longer-term prognosis for Sybil. She is looking for a home with someone who can keep her comfortable and shower her with love.
Sybil is about 7.5 years old and will do well in a range of environments given her sweet nature. However, a quiet home with other people around would be ideal. She needs a calm, compassionate space. Sybil appreciates the simple things: she loves belly rubs, car rides, and going on long walks. 🐕

Sammy would like to let you know that November is #adoptaseniorpetmonth and he’s still waiting to find his forever home. While age is just a number, Sammy’s 13th birthday is also coming up at the end of the month. Wouldn’t it be amazing for him to celebrate his birthday with his forever family?!
Sammy’s foster mom says that you would never know he’s an older boy. She describes him as sweet, very smart and that he makes a great companion!
His favourite hobbies include: naptime, exploring new parks, meeting new people, eating beef-flavoured treats and keeping you company while you watch TV. Talk about too good to be true!
