With #winterintakesarecoming the village woke up on this case. The girl formerly known as Daisy was bleeding an amount that made the vets uncomfortable so they scheduled an in heat spay for her safety. Since they had an availability they also neutered Riggs. The issue here was they’ve been in boarding since since entering into rescue. We at the Mission and everyone else involved did not want their recovery time spent there so we asked for help and kind people stepped up. Here are pics of these selfless people picking them up after their surgeries. Surgeries I might add that Bullies Without Borders helped pay for 🙏🏼 #ittakesavillage #bullterrierrescue

Everyone wish mr Teddy Cheeks good luck for his “procedure” tomorrow. This sweet 5 yr old man will be getting neutered making him available foster to adopt (along with a few more of our 55, 2021 intakes). #winterintakesarecoming #ittakesavillage #bullterrierrescue Please consider adopting and if you can’t adopt then foster. Well, at least Riggs is doing ok. Took miss (name TBD) to the vets today and although it’s not confirmed for Pyo, the vets were worried enough to want to spay her ASAP. So Wednesday she goes in, and hopefully before then we’ll find her a spot to recover afterwards. Just till Friday where she’s due to head out on a transport to OH. If you got the space, time and savvy to keep her safe and somewhat accompanied while she heals, think it’ll be much better than in boarding. Reach out.
