We have dogs who need foster homes in MetroWest area ASAP. Please share! If you have ever considered fostering, now is the time to apply to help a rescued dog on their journey!

We need fosters who:
🏡 are home the majority of the day or WFH
🐕 have dog experience (fostering, dog walking/sitting) or currently have resident friendly dog(s)
🌳 have a physically fenced yard or can provide daily exercise with space for indoor dog play

We can provide supplies! Payment for your services comes in the form of puppy love and licks. All of our dogs are temperament tested and up to date on vaccines.

Dylan + Kal are ready to hit the road! 🚐 There’s only one problem: they don’t have homes yet. 😔

These handsome brothers are about 8 months old, 50lbs, and resemble Doberman mixes. 🧬 Each pup is looking for a home of their own that can help them continue their house + crate training as well as leash walking. 🐕‍🦺 Their ideal homes will have people around to give them lots of love and attention and could have other dogs, savvy cats, or kids 5+. ✅

Their foster says, 💬 “Kal and Dylan would be great in homes that can give them a lot of attention. They want to be with you and close to you. They are goofy when they play and will run after toys but don’t fetch. Both pups are very happy dogs and enjoy playing together. Dylan and Kal are sweet big puppies who jump to greet you but when they aren’t with other dogs, lack confidence. They run and wrestle most of the day- when not sleeping on their blanket of course.”

Lab lovers: this gal’s for you! 😍

Ann is a 4 year old, 65lbs, labby mix lady. 🧬 This poor girl found her way to us after being abandoned by her owner. 💔 Naturally, she’s a bit shaken from the sudden change. What she doesn’t know is only good things are in store for her from here on out! ✅

In her foster home Ann is doing well with house + crate training, and she knows how to walk on leash. 🐕‍🦺 A bit reserved, she opens up more and more each day, showing her affectionate, cuddly side. 🥰 Based on her personality she could join a home with respectful kids 5+, other calm dogs, or savvy cats. 😼 Ann would love a fenced-in yard, however it is not a requirement.

Her foster says, 💬 “Ann is the absolute sweetest thing and loves to stay by your side. She has run a bit hot-and-cold with this, sometimes wanting you and other times being wary. The more time passes, the more secure she feels, and the more she wants to cuddle! Patience is key with sweet Ann, but it is all absolutely worth it! Ann would love a home with a yard she can safely run around in. She is at her happiest outside off a leash. Ann has lived in her foster home with three other dogs, all of whom are usually calm. Ann has been nervous with them and is only recently started to open up with them. I think she’d love a playmate in her forever home as she does show signs of wanting to play.”

Daily Double, anyone? 🤩

Sally and Lilly, a pair of bonded sisters, are 5 years old, 27lbs a piece, and resemble Lab mixes. 🧬 These sweet girls found themselves in need of a new home after their elderly owner could no longer care for them. 💔 Now, they’re searching for a home together! 👯‍♀️ Both girls are house trained and know how to walk on leash, but aren’t used to being crated. Sweet and social, they’re appropriate for a home with kids 5+, other dogs, and/or savvy cats. 😻

Their foster says, 💬 “They love each other. They're always together. They like playing with tennis balls and chasing each other around the yard. They seem to be well trained in that they won't walk in front of you down stairs. They always seem to wait for a verbal cue to come through or down. Sally seems to like all treats and Lilly is a little hesitant. They're two very special girls and I'm so glad they will be together!"

Andy’s coming!

…to Massachusetts next week. 🥳

Handsome Andy is about 2 years old, 60lbs, and his mom was a Labrador Retriever and his father a mixed breed, making him a Lab mix! 🧬 Prior to rescue Andy lived a life of neglect, spending his days in a small pen with only a rusty barrel for shelter. 💔 Now, he’s learning all about what life should be like and is ready for his next chapter! 📖

Based on his personality, Andy could live with other dogs, confident cats, or kids 5+. ✅ His person/people should be up for fine tuning his indoor-living skills/manners as well as continuing his socialization.

His foster says, 💬 “He hasn't had a good life so he's like a little sponge. He loves attention and love, treats, toys, and especially peanut butter. He can be a little shy around new dogs and people but wags his little tail nonstop. He is super smart and is learning manners. He's never had toys or much love but he is doing soooo well. Now that he is safe he is just a happy, happy, happy guy. Andy is so deserving and anyone who meets him will see how special he is."

Are you looking for a top notch sidekick? Dawson may be the gal for you! 😍

Dawson, affectionately known as Pickles in her foster home, is about 4 years old, 45lbs, and appears to be a Cur mix. 🧬 Prior to being rescued, Dawson was used for two things: breeding and squirrel hunting. 👎 When her previous owner no longer had use for her, he dumped her at a rural, Tennessee shelter where she tested positive for heartworm. 💔 Dawson has since spent the last several months in foster undergoing heartworm treatment and is now finally ready to find a family of her own! 🎉

In her foster home she is house trained, crate trained, and knows how to walk on leash. 🦮 Dawson has been living seamlessly with other dogs and confident cats, although will chase a running feline, 😼 and her forever home could have either (or both!) She has not been around children but based on her personality would be appropriate for respectful kids 5+. ✅

Her foster says, 💬 “I am obsessed with this girl. I cannot say enough good things about her. Honestly, I’d keep her in a heartbeat if I didn’t already have four dogs (something I don’t say lightly). She has been such a delight to foster and will be taking a large piece of my heart with her. From day one we’ve called her Pickles, the name Dawson seemed much too serious for this silly, funny girl. She’s very respectful of our other dogs and aside from occasionally chasing our cats, leaves them alone as well. Pickles loves a good game of chase in the backyard but also never passes on the opportunity to snuggle. In my opinion, she’s the perfect balance of active and lazy! She’d be happy with a dog sibling but would also likely be just fine as a solo pup, too. Honestly, she could probably adjust to most homes as long as there is plenty of love, treats, and cuddles to be had!”
