Our mission is to get as many dogs and puppies adopted into loving forever homes or rescues as possible. We update the AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION photo album regularly. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals available please call ACO at 870.260.4079 or 870.246.1803. We are in need of funds to help off set the cost of spay/neuter. We have a fund set up with South Arkansas Vet Hospital for donations. You can donate or pick a pet to sponsor. If you pick a pet to sponsor when you make your donation to the Pound Fund please specify which animal you want the money designated to.

Friends of Arkadelphia Animal Control & Adoption is 3 volunteers, Shirley Fisher, Kathy Clark, & Julie Winfrey, trying to find homes for the dog & puppies at Arkadelphia's Animal Control facility. The facility is located at the sanitation department. Animal Control is operated by the City of Arkadelphia. The Animal Control Officer is Victor Bryant. Per City Ordinance, the dogs are to be held a minimum of 10 days before they are euthanized if homes or rescues are not found. Per state law, the animals must be sterlized before leaving the facility at the expense of the new owner.
