Meet Jasper. He is our first sponsored adoption. Thanks to Genafer Foree’s donation, Jasper can be adopted for no additional cost. Plus he is already microchipped. Meet Tadpole. He was adopted as a kitten and returned a year later due to allergies. He's a sweet boy that loves relaxing in calm spaces. He will play with a person, but he is not a fan of other animals or loud noises. He really needs a new home for the holidays.

Let us know if you are interested in adopting Tadpole OR interested in sponsoring his adoption fee. Currently, we are offering half of adoption fees for all dogs and cats over 6 months. However, you can sponsor Tadpole's adoption fees for only $35, making his adoption fees zero for the new family. This special is offered through the remainder of 2021.

Sponsor an adoption this Holiday Season for only $35. An adoption sponsorship allows someone else to adopt that sponsored pet for free. Your $35 sponsorship covers a $20 limited-time adoption fee and a $15 microchip fee. The sponsored pets will be posted and the Shelter Staff will use the application screening process to choose the right adopting family.

Your sponsorship will allow dogs and cats to be adopted at no cost. However, any unsponsored pets over 6 months will be eligible for a $50 adoption fee through the rest of 2021.

Coffee with Cats - November 17 from 10-12. The HSIC staff invite you to join them for Coffee with Cats. They will be sitting and chatting inside the cat rooms. Coffee and cocoa are served, but the highlight will be the cats! Stop by to enjoy and scratch a few ears!
