Darwin Animal Rescue Group is a small not for profit group of people who rescue the unwanted, abandoned or abused animals in the Northern Territory.

We work daily to aid animals in need, and hope to continue to raise awareness of the plight of the abandoned and unwanted animals in the NT.

We have a ‘no kill’ policy, and we are committed to the well being of every animal we rescue. To achieve this we rely on the hard work of volunteers and support from the community.

We are the only group in Darwin and surrounds that will answer calls for help and go and rescue an animal. Many hours are spent patiently attempting to capture animals in need.

Once rescued, we take these animals into our homes, help them return to health, socialise and prepare them for adoption. All of our rescues are desexed as part of our mission to reduce the number of unwanted animals in the Northern Territory.``

As well as rescuing, we also receive animals from families who are unable to keep them any longer and try to find them loving new homes. We also work with one of the pounds to assist in rehoming the dogs so that they do not have to be put to sleep.
