Auraria Students for the Humane Treatment of Animals

We are a student-run animal advocacy group on the Auraria Campus.

The mission of ASHTA is to promote the humane and ethical treatment of all animals through educational outreach and awareness.

ASHTA strives to educate the public on cruelties such as:
*factory farming
*puppy mills
*animals used for entertainment (circus, rodeo)
*wildlife abuse
*marine mammal cruelty (whaling, dolphin hunt, seal hunt)

ASHTA is an animal-rights student group based out of the Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado. We serve the three schools on the Auraria Campus: University of Colorado Denver, Metro State, and Community College of Denver.
