Kent County Animal Shelter

The Kent County Animal Shelter works with thousands of families every year. Our staff can counsel you on the right pet for your family. Give a pet a happy home. Next time you want a pet, think adoption first!

Pets posted here may not fully represent all of the animals we have at a given time. If you have a lost pet, you will need to come to the Animal Shelter in person with ID, proof of ownership and rabies certificate for reclaim purposes.

Boarding fees for pets that are being held at KCAS are based on the number of days an animal is held. Licensing and other fees may apply.

Animal Control issues MUST be called in to 616.632.7300. We cannot take complaints via facebook.
