UB's Arnold Bernhard Center for the Arts & Humanities

UB's event space and arts center; home of UB's Shintaro Akatsu School of Design, Music & Performing Arts Program, theater, recital hall, and art gallery.

University of Bridgeport's Arnold Bernhard Center for the Arts & Humanities was built in 1972, and serves as a cultural and entertainment center for the University and greater Bridgeport community.

The building is home to UB's Music & Performing Arts Program and its Shintaro Akatsu School of Design. Venues found within the complex include Littlefield Recital Hall, the Andre and Clara Mertens Theater, and the Schelfhaudt Gallery, as well as the DuPont Tower Room.
