Delaware Humanities

Connecting people, cultures and ideas since 1973, the Delaware Humanities Forum promotes the humanities by providing resources to the people of Delaware. Programs include grants to nonprofits, educational outreach and special DHF-sponsored projects.

The Delaware Humanities Forum promotes the humanities as a resource for all Delawareans. DHF, through its advocacy, project initiatives, educational outreach, and grant awarding, brings together the public, humanities specialists, and institutions in order to increase awareness and understanding of the connections among people, cultures, and ideas; to focus on issues of public interest and concern; and to connect the daily life and work of all people to the universe of human experience, thought, and imagination.

DHF is the state agency of the National Endowment for the Humanities in Delaware. We are one of 56 state humanities councils.
