This section enforces the Polk County's Animal Control Ordinance and the state's Dangerous Dog statue both inside and outside all city limits.
Animal Control investigates bite cases and dangerous dog cases. This agency also provides:
Animal adoption programs; picks up sick or injured dogs and cats; and quarantines animals. When inquiring about animals viewed on our website, you must provide the animal ID number from the website.
