The Georgia Animal Protection Society is a nonprofit organization for the betterment and welfare of Georgia’s animal and pet population.

Our Mission - The GAPS (Georgia Animal Protection Society) is a nonprofit organization committed to working with other local and national nonprofits to strengthen their impact and to increase the awareness and prevention of animal cruelty. We will provide positive, effective solutions to prevent animal cruelty in Georgia and throughout the United States. Our primary focuses will be to help find loving homes for animals in need, to educate the public about proper humane care of animals, and to assist with the enforcement of animal protection laws and ordinances.

We are the Georgia Animal Protection Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment and welfare of Georgia's animal population. Our purposes are as follows:

Help and assist other cause-related Georgia non-profits with fund raising, marketing, and exposure.
Support and promote organizations and individuals who provide services with quality, caring, and love for pets and animals.
To expose, shame, and shine the light on organizations and individuals who harm or neglect pets or animals.
To provide information and resources to pet owners.
To help animals find a good home.
