Rome Floyd Humane Society

The Rome Floyd Humane Society is a nonprofit, all volunteer, community based animal welfare organization.

To emphasize spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted animals and lower area euthanization rates, to educate the community on being responsible pet owners, to increase pet adoptions, and to have financial assistance available for the health and welfare of animals.

The Rome Floyd County Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, community based animal welfare organization. We support a No Kill policy.
The Rome Floyd Humane Society receives no government funding or funds from any national animal welfare organization. We depend solely on the generosity of individual and corporate donors and supporters to fund our programs and services. We provide pet vaccinations to Floyd County animal control, and services such as low cost spaying and neutering, assistance with emergency veterinary care, educational programs, and a pet food pantry for the pets of the less fortunate residents of Rome and Floyd County.

You can help us by becoming a member and getting involved! We are always in need of volunteers.
