The Wright-Way Rescue Admission & Medical Services Campus is located in Murphysboro IL and is home to Wright-Way Rescue & TimberTrails Veterinary Services.

Our Mission- Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. We continue to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving homes. We place more dogs in adoptive homes than any other no-kill rescue in the State of Illinois on just 10% of the budget.

Animal Admissions- Partnering with Wright-Way Rescue guarantees your pet’s life. Wright-Way Rescue was created with the No Kill mission at heart, we are committed to each and every pet in our care. And we are committed to our pets for their entire lives. If anything should happen where their adopters can no longer care for them, we ask that they be returned to us.

Because we are committed to every pet in our care, we manage our admissions to ensure that we can provide the quality care that each pet requires.

The next steps will include meeting with our Intake team and your pet, a brief medical assessment and evaluating behavior. If you have a litter of puppies or kittens, pick up may be available based on staffing availability and your location.

TimberTrails Low-Cost Veterinary Services- Welcome to TimberTrails Low-Cost Veterinary Services! TimberTrails is southern Illinois' newest

low-cost, not-for-profit vet clinic. Owned and operated by Wright-Way Rescue, we strive to help families in the community provide the care their animals need.

Not only are services available to the general public, but we also work with animal shelters, animal control facilities and rescue groups to provide medical care to the animals in their programs.



We offer high quaility service at a discounted rate. We also offer a discount to families who demonstrate financial need! Please ask our staff if you qualify for further discount.
