The City of Calhoun Animal Control is dedicated to protecting the public and the animals of Calhoun Georgia.

Here at the Calhoun Animal Control we pick up, trap, and accept animals that are strays, owner surrenders, or lost. We also remove dead animals off the city streets. We usually work all of the animal calls whatever they might be.

Calhoun Animal Control consist of two employees. Clyde Burchett is the Animal Control Director and Dustin Wilbanks is the Assistant Director. The building consist of 17 dog kennels and 9 cat kennels.

The City of Calhoun Animal Control takes pride in protecting the public and the animals of Calhoun. We would like to continue progressing in the right direction with the animal shelter, trying to get lost animals back home and finding new homes for the ones that are homeless.
