Our Purpose
Home to Home Dog Rescue, NFP is a shelterless, foster-driven, all-breed dog rescue that serves to lower shelter surrender rates in the greater Chicagoland area. H2HDR offers fosters and adopters continued support and education on optimal care for their canine.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and registered as an Animal Rescue with the State of Illinois Bureau of Animal Health and Welfare. Home to Home Dog Rescue also offers fosters and adopters continued support and education on optimal care for their canine.

We are a very small group with very big hearts. Last year we rescued our 40th dog. We strongly believe in the famous quote by Karen Davidson, "Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever."

Foster Opportunities
As a shelterless, foster-driven rescue organization, our foster network is the cornerstone of our operations. We need canine-loving, reliable individuals who can care for a Home to Home dog as they transition to a new home. We provide all supplies and food: you provide the love!
