Rescuing stray / abandoned animals and providing assistance to F.C. Residents.

Our mission is to build a No-Kill community in Franklin County and to improve conditions for the animals that find their way to the Franklin County Animal Shelter (pound).

We are NOT the Franklin County Animal Shelter (aka the Pound.) Our organization is completely comprised of volunteers. We have no paid staff and receive no financial support from the state or local government. We do not have a shelter to keep animals in. We rely on foster homes to keep animals temporarily until someone adopts them and gives them their forever home. Our office doubles as a site for spay/neuter transports and for adoption events. Our focus is to reduce the number of animals born in Franklin County, reduce the number of animals entering the county pound facility, and eliminate the practice of killing healthy animals for convenience.
