Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Indiana

We are a faith-based organization whose mission is to eliminate sub-standard housing.

Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Indiana, serving DeKalb, Noble & Steuben counties, is a faith-based organization seeking to eliminate substandard housing in the community for those in need; through: the construction of decent, affordable houses; weatherization; critical home repair; and Habitat for Humanity International's Brush with Kindness program.

Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Indiana, serving DeKalb, Noble & Steuben counties, is an ecumenical Christian ministry that provides affordable housing in the community for those in need, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International.

We build houses for families in need of housing through volunteer labor, management expertise and tax-deductible donations of money and materials.

These houses are then sold at no profit to partner families at a no-interest mortgage over a fixed period.

Partner families are selected from applications and contribute 500 hours of sweat equity in working on their own homes or other homes or for non-profit organizations.
