Burrillville Animal Control is the municipal Animal Control Department and Animal Shelter for the Town of Burrillville, RI, operating under the supervision of the Burrillville Police Department.

Our mission is first and foremost to ensure the safety of the public while enforcing local and state laws pertaining to animals. We strive to provide a high quality of service to the public as well as the animals in our care. It is our goal to operate effectively and efficiently in response to complaints and to provide the best possible care to animals held at our facility awaiting their owners or new homes.

Burrillville Animal Control Officers are available to respond to animal complaints, enforce local animal control ordinances and state laws pertaining to animal care, return stray animals to the public, place unclaimed and unwanted animals for adoption, and provide assistance and education to the public. The Animal Control Department works under the supervision of the Burrillville Police Department.
