Located in Alden, IA, GHS is a NO-KILL CAT SHELTER serving NORTHERN HARDIN COUNTY. GHS is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers & donations.

The Greenbelt Humane Society was incorporated in 1996 with the mission of preventing animal cruelty, relief for suffering animals and extension of humane education.

Membership is open to all people who have an interest in helping animals in need. Dues are $20 per year.
