Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control

Animal Care & Control is a city public safety department. We are guided by the humane ethic and livability issues within neighborhoods to ensure public safety as well as prevent pet overpopulation, animal neglect, and animal cruelty through education, rescue, and law enforcement.


HOURS: Our Adoption Center is closed Mondays and open Tues-Fri 12:00-5:30 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 11:00-3:00 and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Our General Business Office is open Mon-Fri 11-5:30 and until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.
