We are the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.

The Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Adoption Center staff is dedicated to helping the homeless pets in our township. We are proud of the fact that over 94% of the animals that come to us are saved because of the implementation of adoption programs and additional adoption center hours. Additionally coalition building with private humane societies and other animal organizations, significant upgrades to the kennels and shelter atmosphere, the addition of an education room and new training programs for the staff have all contributed to recent successes. Our outreach programs provide the community with educational and pet companionship opportunities. We are always in need of volunteers to help walk and socialize the animals. The Help the Animals Fund provides medical care for sick and injured stray animals that previously would have had to be euthanized.
