Westside Animal Rescue's goal is to find homes for abandoned animals, and to slow the population growth of "feral" cats through spaying/neutering.

Our mission is to save the lives of homeless cats by providing access to high volume spay/neuter surgery in a safe and humane environment, collaborating with others and mentoring like-minded organizations to increase spay/neuter in their region.

We strive to transform & develop communities to protect & improve the lives of cats. Our goals are the same as Alley Cat Allies: Reform public policies & institutions to serve the best interests of cats, expand & promote cat care & increase understanding of cats to change attitudes & eliminate misconceptions.

We envision a time when all cats are cared for, all kittens and domesticated cats are in loving homes and there is a healthy, but declining sterilized managed feral cat population. The feral cat colonies that do remain are monitored, fed, and treated medically when needed by their caregivers.
