We seek to eliminate substandard housing in Washington County. We seek to make simple & safe, decent affordable housing a reality for hard working partner families.

Habitat is a hand-up, not a hand-out. We are a volunteer based, donation driven organization. Partner families put in 500 hours of sweat equity building their own home and the homes of other partner families. In the meantime they gain skills for self-sufficiency, and make affordable monthly payments on a no-profit, no-interest mortgage loan.
