Gabe's Gang is a non-profit organization who rescues, rehabilitates, trains and re-homes basset hounds and dacshunds from kill-shelters across the state of Michigan. We also use these rescued dogs to transform people's life through the power of the human-dog bond.


Gabe’s Gang is a federally recognized 501c(3) nonprofit corporation
A gang of (gang-stars) gathered together and focused on rescueing dachshunds and basset hounds. We have quickly been blessed to form amazing partnerships with other animal welfare groups, shelters, veterinary clinics and other organizations with the same mission — to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home waddlers )(basset hounds) and wiener dogs.
But our mission doesn’t end there.
We are also focused on educating the public on the prevention of animal abuse and other issues; helping to one day end the homeless animal epidemic through low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and provide free and low cost microchip clinics to ensure the safe return of lost pets to the families who love them.
It’s a tall mountain before us, but everyday the gang locks arms and we climb — one step at a time. We will get there.
