Domestic Short Hair & Tortoiseshell Mix Female 💕

My name is Chardonnay. I love to be petted! (It's pretty much my favorite thing.) I am sweet, playful and love chasing my toy mouse. I also love using my scratching posts and taking naps in the sun. I enjoy being near my foster family and getting lots of attention. I came from a farm with my 5 kittens and they have all been adopted. My dream home is a quiet, safe place where I can get lots of attention and be petted a lot! I am getting comfortable being picked up and held, but I do enjoy laying on your feet! Meet MEATLOAF!!! Lab/Retriever Mix Male 💙
Meatloaf came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Arkansas that closed down.
He’s a big goofy dog that likes to be pet. He’s cuddly & friendly with people. Good with kids too! He’s guessed at 4yrs old & said to be a black lab mix. He’s very stocky & muscular so I’m guessing some bully breed mix in there. He knows sit & LOVES treats!
Meatloaf is kenneled when we are away & overnights and doesn’t mind.
We have found that meatloaf is not good with male dogs for sure (neutered or not) & can be very selective with his female dog friends. He is dominate to small dogs & puppies also. SO, we are recommending that Meatloaf go to a home with no other pets (cats/dogs) or we need to have a meet with them first to ensure compatibility.

SUCCESS STORY! 💕 This is Charlie! He went to his forever family on May 13,2014. His favorite food is FOOD 😂 and his favorite toy is the treat-filled bone. His human sister Lauren is his favorite person. She’s off to college, but they are close as ever when she comes to visit. He’s the best dog ever! His daycare knows all about his issues and they don’t try and change him. They respect that he is special. Charlie is a hit where ever he goes. Dorothy is a 3yr, 5mo old Manchester Terrier/Dachshund mix that was found as a stray & never claimed.

She’s shy at first, but very curious to be by you too. Once she learns to trust you, she relaxes more. She is doing good on leash walking, but could still use some more work on continuing to walk (she gets distracted). She will let you pick her up, loves a dog bed to sleep in, is good with cats & dogs and has been exposed to kids (foster home doesn’t have kids living there). This dog will be at Burnsville Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3 looking for a home. #lasthope #rescue #dog #adoptdontshop

Happy Thursday!
The Smiths adopted Rainey, stray momma cat with 5 kittens back in early June.
Their daughter is in a program at her school in Apple Valley called Girls on the Run. The Girls on the Run program participates in a community service project and they have elected to collect donations for Last Hope. @girlsontherun__

Loretta will read anything so don't let her give you any book recommendations. But Betty the chicken, who is quite the movie enthusiast ( which granted, doesn't mean she knows anything about books but lets pretend it does, because she...) is highly recommending The One and Only Wolfgang (link in bio). Either that or she just wants more chicken feed, I'm still working out the kinks in interpreting her chicken noises. Stuart the rabbit is only in the photo as an attractive model to lure you in. He seldom endorses anything.
