We are a full service non-profit tax exempt animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re home unwanted animals in northern Nevada.

At S.F.A.R. our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home pets in need in the northern Nevada area. Our goal is to see every pet get the loving, furrever home that they deserve. We strive to match every animal with their perfect human companion(s) so that they never again end up in the shelter/rescue system.

Strawberry Fields Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization who is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing pets in need in the northern Nevada area. We have, and do, rescue just about any domestic furry, feathered or scaly creature, however, we are not equipped for larger animals/livestock. All animals adopted through our organization are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped to ensure that they are healthy and will not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem in this country and throughout the world. We want to see every animal end up in their loving furrever home and that is why we have strict adoption criteria and work tirelessly, to find that perfect match for both people, and the pets who need homes. By matching our pets with their perfect human companion(s) we ensure that the animal has an everlasting love connection and will never again end up back in the shelter/rescue system. All canines who come through S.F.A.R. attend local obedience classes with professional dog trainer, Guy Yeaman, who has many years of dog training experience in our valley and beyond! Our residents are all taken to Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital to receive any/all medical treatment that they require during their stay with us. We are a small but dedicated operation. We live by these words; One by one until there are none, on a wing and a prayer and a paw and this is the paw print that we wish to leave on this planet. Although, we are small, we are MIGHTY!
