WE ARE YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL ADOPTION CENTER STRIVING TO HELP ALL ANIMALS. WE ARE A NO KILL FACILITY. In order to save the many animals that come our way from kill-shelters, homes where they are no longer wanted, abandoned animals and lost animals that are not reunited due to non caring owners, we must have a constant flow of adoptions. That is where you come in; the caring adopter who wants a forever companion. THE HUMANE SOCIETY IS ENTIRELY FUNDED BY DONATIONS, WE RECEIVE NO FUNDING FROM STATE, COUNTY OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT. We are always is need of canned Cat food of all kinds, clay litter (non clumping), Eukanuba and Iams dry cat and kitten food, dog treats of all kinds, Innova and California Natural dry dog food, all kinds of cleaning products, bleach, dish detergent, clothes detergent, paper towels, tissues, and all kinds of spray cleaners. We have many wonderful, happy, healthy animals waiting for a forever home. All cats and kittens are Felv/Fiv tested, Fecal tested, and up to date with shots. They also can be micro-chipped upon request, free of charge, with a small fee for registration. All dogs are up to date with shots, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered if old enough, and ready to be your best friend.

It's been over 11 years since a fire devastated our East Rutherford facility and we're in full swing now at 221 Stuyvesant Avenue in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This new facility is even bigger, better and an absolute joy! We invite you to come in and meet all of our wonderful pets for adoption.
