We accept checks, credit/debit cards, and money orders. We do not accept cash.

The Jessamine County Animal Shelter is an open-intake, county-run shelter located in Nicholasville, KY. The shelter accepts dogs and cats from county residents and offers these animals for adoption to the general public.

Adoption fees for dogs are $120; fees for cats are $80. This includes spay/neuter, microchip and a one-year license (for dogs).

The shelter also partners with multiple rescue organizations, email jcouch@jessamineco.com for information on pulling dogs/cats for rescue.
