We are a volunteer, foster-based animal rescue (no facility) located in Cochiti Lake, NM . We have foster homes in Cochiti Lake, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Los Alamos. All of our companion animals live in a warm and loving enviroment with foster families, while awaiting adoption. Our main focus is finding forever homes for abused, negolected, unwanted and homeless dogs and cats, but we also educate on the importance of spaying & neutering, promote the no-kill concept, work with families to find homes and keep pets out of the shelters, and introduce children to caring and respecting animals. We work together with the Cochiti Pueblo on spaying and neutering, rehabbing and rehoming, as well as education and all animal welfare issues. We partner with many rescues in NM and CO and successfuly adopt hundreds of unwanted puppies to Colorado. We also work with some high kill animal shelters in NM to save animals from euthanasia.
