Habitat for Humanity Gallup is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving the Gallup, NM community.

Our mission is the construction, renovation or completion of modest but adequate housing. We believe in a hand up, not a hand out and through our work Habitat builds homes, but we also build communities.


Habitat for Humanity of Gallup was incorporated on October 1, 2001. Our first groundbreaking was in August 2002 and the first home was dedicated on September 25, 2003. Groundbreaking for the second home was held on September 19, 2004, with the home dedicated on June 29, 2006. Our third groundbreaking was held on March 25, 2007 and the home was dedicated on December 21, 2008. On May 10, 2009 we held our fourth groundbreaking and dedicated the home on October 2, 2010.
