The purpose of the Mobile County Animal Shelter Facebook is to promote the agency’s ‘Opt-To-Adopt’ Program. We hope our Facebook postings will encourage you to adopt stray animals from our shelter, inform you about adoptable animals available and those that have been adopted, let you know about upcoming events such as rabies/microchip clinics and special adoption events, assist owners with lost pets by sharing photos, and provide educational information relating to pets. The Mobile County Animal Shelter reserves the right to remove derogatory comments and statements from its Facebook page that do not encourage the adoption of animals.
