My name is RR Sandoc Tonto, but around the barn I’m known as Lucky Orphan Cowboy. I was born on May 1, 1988. I am a quarter horse gelding. I was a ranch horse in Oklahoma, spending long days driving cattle until my owner had to sell our ranch. I came to live at LOHR in the summer of 2003 and have been very happy here since! I have marched on Main Street in Poughkeepsie for Father’s Day. I have taught all of the LOHR students, volunteers and visitors many things: patience, respect and have even given many of them their first horseback riding lessons! I have traveled far to find the greatest retirement home!
