Sea Dog Rescue is a non profit corporation dedicated to saving dogs in high kill shelters, providing for their medical needs and finding them screened, approved permanent homes where they will live the rest of their lives as beloved family members.

Sea Dog Rescue’s mission is to participate in the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement into approved homes for dogs in need and serve as an information resource for pet owners and the rescue community. We are based in northeastern NC and serve the eastern portion of the US.

Sea Dog Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs. We work with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians, trainers, and others in the rescue community to save dogs from high kill shelters and provide them with needed veterinary care, loving temporary foster homes, and well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Sea Dog Rescue is based in Elizabeth City, NC.
