POTEAU VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY - Established in 1995 with 2 Goals:
To help relieve the suffering of the neglected, abused, and abandoned animals in the Poteau and when space allows, the surrounding communities by taking them into shelter, meeting their physical and emotional needs each day so that one day their guardian angel will appear to take them to a permanent home!
To help educate the citizens of LeFlore County on the seriousness of the pet overpopulation and to encourage spay/neuter by (when funds are available to do so) to help those who need financial help to have their companion animals spayed or neutered.
