The Friends of the Stephens County Humane Society operate the Thrift Store in Comanche as a means to help provide for the cats and dogs of the Humane Society. The Friends of The Humane Society is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to raising funds to support projects and aid in veterinary care at the Stephens County Humane Society.

We are actively seeking volunteers who would like to join us in helping the animals. In addition to operating the Thrift Store, we also help with on-site adoptions and other functions throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteering with the Friends, please call Betty Burk at 580-475-0223.
