Hi! My name is Atlas. I am a 6-month-old hound mix from Tennessee, making me the perfect southern gentleman! I'm super playful, especially with my toys. Affection, pets, and cuddles are always at the top of my "to do" list.

Volunteers Make a Difference!

Often we are asked how children can get involved with helping at the shelter. Megan and her family have been fostering dogs with medical needs, but she wanted to do more to help the animals in the shelter. Megan decided to make some toys for our feline residents and boy do our cats love them!

I Need A Home!

I'm Cleo! I came to the shelter in the hope of finding a family to love. It was a bit too stressful for me there, so I've been in foster care where I am being spoiled and finding my confidence!
I am a bit on the shy side at first, but once I get to you know, we will be great friends. I LOVE to play, go for walks, and will thrive in a quiet home with another dog. No cats though, please.

A huge thanks to Industrious for hosting a Lunch & Learn with Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter. We were excited to share all the ways to get involved at the shelter: how to volunteer, foster, donate and adopt. We brought two of our pups and some kittens, who received love and attention from all the Industrious members. Hello there! My name is Minnie. I came to Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter because I needed serious help. I was expecting and with the loving care they provided, I was able to have my babies in foster care.

My babies have grown and have found their forever homes. Now it's my turn! Honestly, this couldn't come soon enough. While I love the people at the shelter, I just want a place where I can roam. I'm a bit of an attention seeker and will be the center of your world, should you take me home. I do require that I am the only cat in the house. I am playful, loving, and cuddly. Everything you would want and more!
