The Mission of the Oshkosh Area Humane Society is to promote the bond between animals and people, to provide community outreach and education, and to enhance the quality of lives of animals in need through compassionate sheltering, responsible adoptions, programs and services.

The Oshkosh Area Humane Society is a registered 501c(3) organization that helps over 2,200 animals every year in the Oshkosh area. In addition to pet adoption, OAHS also provides lost and found services, behavioral counseling, low-cost spay/neuter and much more. In accordance with the Life Saving Mission, all animals receive the medical care they need and all healthy/treatable animals get the opportunity to find a loving home with no time restrictions.
