To rescue and re-home needy dogs in the Tri-Cities

East Tennessee Spitz and Herding Dog Rescue is a non-profit rescue in East Tennessee that is located in the Tri-Cities region. Our rescue works with spitz-type and herding dog breeds from local shelters, and we assist local rescues who need help. We also help to assist the owners of animals who need help in order to keep from loosing their animals.

All of the dogs within our care require an adoption application to be completed, home visit, vet reference and check, and a $100 adoption fee regardless of the breed of the dog (this covers the spay/neuter, vetting, and basic costs for each dog).

We currently do not have our 501c3 non-profit, therefore, we are unable to pull animals from shelters at this time.
