This is the Official Facebook Page for the Lewis County Animal Shelter. There is another Facebook page being advertised as the Lewis County Animal Shelter but it is not run by anyone who works at the official shelter. We apologize for the confusion this has caused many. We have asked the person who started the Facebook page under our name to please stop but they have refused at this time. Please know that we understand the confusion that this persons actions have caused however we have no control over their choice to continue their actions. Our goals as an Animal Shelter is to communicate with the public about the types of animals available for adoption, provide pet education, and of course, reunite families with their beloved pets. We strive to provide a safe and healthy shelter for animals while they are in our care.
