Johnson County Humane Society - Texas

Johnson County Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill rescue group. We rescue animals from area shelters, bringing animals and people together by providing loving foster homes and ultimately permanent homes for these precious animals.

Johnson County Humane Society (JCHS), a 501(c)3 non profit organization, was founded in 1986, and is dedicated to the welfare of animals. JCHS is a no kill rescue group with volunteer foster homes in Johnson, Tarrant, and Parker counties. We work with area shelters to save animals from being killed, bringing animals and people together by providing loving foster homes and ultimately permanent homes for these precious animals. JCHS has regular adoption events at PETSENSE in Ft. Worth. We have rescued thousands of unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals since our inception, operating solely on donations. All rescued animals are spayed/neutered and fully vetted before being adopted. When funds are available we offer emergency medical services for the community.
