ReStore accepts donations of furniture, appliances, construction materials and household goods then sells them at a discount in order to build more homes

Habitat for Humanity of the MOV has operated a ReStore since 2001, starting out with a few items and gradually expanding. We operated at 1448 7th Street from November of 2009 to April of 2016. Our current location at 600 16th St. in Vienna opened April 30, 2016.

The mission of the Habitat ReStore is threefold:
* To provide additional funding to support Habitat for Humanity’s housebuilding
mission;
* To expand opportunities to serve a broader base of the community by
providing low cost materials; and
* To provide good stewardship of sustainable resources in the community.

The ReStore accepts home improvement items that are in good repair. Accepted items are furniture, appliances that are in working order, cabinetry, building materials, tools and anything else that is in the “home improvement” category that is able to be re-sold. We do not accept clothing, console TVs or paint that has frozen.

Items to be donated to the ReStore may be dropped off at the ReStore through our handy covered drive-thru. If you are unable to drop off the items, please call the ReStore at 304-HABITAT (422-4828) to arrange a pickup. We offer pickups Monday through Friday 8:30-4:00.
