Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County

Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian, housing ministry

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

There are more than 1900 affiliates worldwide, with more than 200,000 people volunteering annually. "It is with great comfort to know that HFHI is building simple, basic homes throughout the world. The 500,000th home has been completed in fulfillment of the Habitat mission, thanks to the many volunteers world wide," states Julie Woznick (Habitat for Humanity Board President). Habitat for Humanity of FDL has completed 28 homes in the community. We have placed 118 family members into the completed houses in FDL County. Homes have been built in FDL, NFDL and Ripon, so far. Volunteers are always needed for office work, committees or in our ReStore. During our build season from April to September, we invite you to call and reserve a date for you or your group to come and join us to build on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We do ask that you call to reserve your spot for the particular day(s) that fit your schedule. Call the office for more information at 920-921-6623. Volunteers are needed in the ReStore on Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
