“RoadKill” is Jerry’s nick name. Not only does he pick up RoadKill, he hunts and traps all types of animals, while utilizing every part of the animal that he can. He tans pelts, bleaches skulls, and removes nuisance animals for relocation when possible. People even call to report RoadKill sightings.

The story of the RoadKill Recycler begins years ago, when he told my daughter and me about a startling experience of picking up a badger on the road that was unconscious, but still alive. We laughed with him as he told his survivor story, but couldn’t help but take notice of what he was actually doing with the RoadKill. He was recycling it! As a joke we had business cards made for him with the name RoadKill Recycler. He loved the cards and has continued on his calling to Recycle RoadKill.
