Tom adopted Sophie in June 2020. She came to CPR as a stray with a leg injury that was severely infected and as a result her back right left needed to be amputated. She recovered wonderfully with a foster family before Tom adopted her. Sophie is a lucky girl, enjoying a happy and healthy life. Our 5K fundraiser "Sophie's Halloween Howl" was named for her this year.

😡 Bentley was turned in to animal control by his owner after they bought a new purebred puppy. He is a DOLL of a dog and will make a great companion for most homes. ⭐He can be a little too much energy for some dogs, and definitely does not need to be with a young energetic puppy. He has done fine with calmer dogs, both small and large. Bentley has a good track record at a local daycare, and is healthy and for adoption.
⭐⭐⭐Check this guy out - he could be your next best friend !! He is a three year old Collie mix.

🐾CPR is blessed to have many caring and energetic volunteers including Jackie Ferreira. She has volunteered for our organization for the past seven years.🐾 Recently, she approached us about completing a Girl Scout service project on site, and here are the results!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️Jackie created a walking path for our many kennel volunteers from our parking lot to the dog kennels. The paver stones are painted with fluorescent paint for easier visibility at night. Jackie completed her project over the course of a few weeks with the help of her team.
The path now stands as a thank you to each of the hard working individuals that selflessly dedicate their time and resources to Canine Pet Rescue. Thanks to Jackie for making it possible.

❤🐾Sasha is a purebred German shepherd who has good obedience skills, is house trained, crate trained, gets along great with other dogs and would love a home 🏡where she can spend a lot of time with her owners. Sasha bonds deeply with her people- so deeply (like most GSDs) that she can be over protective of her people and needs an owner willing to train. She is somewhat timid in new situations and needs socialization to overcome this obstacle. Sasha is a young, active 3 years old, loves her walks, water and playing with her people. Due to her overprotective nature, she will not be adopted to a home with children and needs a savvy and experienced owner. This beautiful girl is available for adoption now. 🧚♂️🍀Pete was surrendered to animal control by his former owners to be euthanized because they wanted to travel more! He is SO incredibly sweet. We don’t know how he lost his foot, but he will require surgery on his back leg to give his hips some relief. Pete is a mild-mannered GSD Male about a year-and-a-half old. He is a quiet guy. He was very sad when he first arrived but has blossomed. He loves scratches and affection. Loves to play ball ⚽️or sit with you and let you love ❤️on him. Will be good for any type of family. Walks well on a leash, knows how to sit. 🚶♂️
